Upbeat Perform is our asynchronous virtual performance creation tool, supporting up to 140 players and post-processing effects. If you are trying to create a virtual concert, this is what you want.
Upbeat Live is our real-time online rehearsal tool. It's similar to a video chat, except you can also practice music together without latency getting in the way.
Many users use Upbeat Live to rehearse, and then switch over to Upbeat Perform when they are ready to produce a polished recording.
Upbeat works on Chromebook and any laptop or desktop with the Google Chrome browser. We don't yet support iPad - we plan to release an iOS app eventually but are focusing on improving the existing web application in the short term.
